Joyful Bearspaw Golf Course Wedding
Carissa and Bart’s Bearspaw Golf Course wedding was a day to remember! The amount of love they have for their family and friends was evident throughout their entire wedding day.
Carissa and Bart first met at their company’s yearly golf tournament in Jasper. They both share a love for golf which made the decision to be married at the Bearpsaw Golf Club an easy one. Before their wedding weekend started, they planned a golf tournament for their guests to attend. They had a great day on the course and everyone who attended was able to get to know each other before their big day.
They rented a home in Bearspaw so that they were close to the venue. They used it as a gathering for the rehearsal dinner and for the wedding party to get ready.
Bearspaw Golf Course Wedding Ceremony Outdoors
They had an outdoor ceremony on the 10th tee with music by the fantastic Solatido duo. It was a warm sunny day with an amazing view that extended to the Rockies. Things don’t always go as planned. Carissa’s veil wouldn’t stay in her hair as she was walking down the aisle. She didn’t let it spoil the moment and ended up throwing it over her shoulder. One of their friends was the officiant which added a personal touch to their ceremony.
After the ceremony they did family photos in front of their stunning ceremony arch. The photos by Dana Cole Photography were gorgeous and really captured the beauty of the location! While Carissa and Bart were getting photos done, their guests were able to sip on the signature cocktails (Blackberry whiskey lemonade and pisco sour) in the courtyard while listening to the amazing music from Solatido.
Wedding Reception in the Bearspaw Golf Course Clubhouse
A reception room reveal was done so Carissa and Bart were able to spend a bit of time together before the evening began and enjoy the gorgeous room. A kings table was the perfect choice so they could sit together with their wedding party and their significant others, as well as their parents. After dinner and speeches, they cut into their tasty two-tiered cake provided by Bake My Day. After their first dance, they headed outside for sunset photos.
The guests danced the night away to live music from The Brother Bandits. Bart surprised his bride by singing a song with the band. It was a very special moment. Bart and Carissa’s wedding was a special day and they incorporated many unique touches that really made it personal and memorable for them.
As a wedding planner, I love that the Bearspaw Golf Course has multiple different spaces that couples can use throughout the day. They provide separate rooms for the wedding party to use prior to the ceremony, the outdoor space on the course for the ceremony, the courtyard and outdoor deck for cocktails and their main banquet room for the reception. It truly is a gorgeous venue for weddings.
